10:16 pm - Reportage blah blah blah pictures blah blah light blah blah inspiration blah blah thoughts in head blah blah
And here's the bit where you come in. Your first task is to decide whether a day of photos is something I should do. If I was doing such a thing, where would I start? Take the camera to bed and shoot the first thing I see when I wake up? Shoot a photo every 30 minutes, regardless of whether there's anything interesting there or not? Or just walk around with a camera all day and come out with a "here's the kettle - me make coffee now" picture and nothing else?
Your second task is slightly more onerous, and involves you not being at your keyboard. I want models. Specifically, I want to practise portraits. The ultimate goal is for me to be able to produce nice pictures of people. Sadly the interim reality is that you'll end up with many many rotten pictures of yourself. Most of these you can delete immediately. A slightly bigger request, if anyone is up for it, is to let me post one or two of the pictures of you publicly, so that I can ask other people to help show me where I'm going wrong. The first step is just taking the pictures though - you don't have to let me post them. Anyone willing to volunteer?

09:59 pm - Dead ant, dead ant... A number of people have been complaining of ants lately - you may be interested to know that Aldi will be selling bait stations next week. That is all.

08:06 pm - Aloe leaves Decided to use some aloe leaves in a salad, but when I cut and peeled them they tasted horrible - incredibly bitter and ick. Anyone know why this is? Should I be using the new leaves instead of the older ones? Could it be because they're in a pot, not the ground?

10:42 pm - Aujourd'hui Woke up to microgirl's dulcet text pushing me out of bed, to discover that my entire night had been spent in weirdness (wide open curtains, wide open window, odd dreams). Wandered over and shouted "Bin" at her a lot. Then was rude to her mother about a step ladder.
I went straight from there to kshandr's where I watched Dr Who, and kshandr knocked out one of my fillings. The bastard. How dare he give me toffee. After that there was a teensy bit of Rockband, but I was not 100%, so toddled home comparatively early.
Next week's Doctor Who is at the earlier time of 18:40. There was one winner of the €19m Lotto jackpot. Ticket was sold in the southeast, which rules me out. Poot.

04:36 pm - Today counts as a successful day (so far) I got to all my appointments on time or early, met up with bastun_ie and natural20 for the first time in ages, got home without getting soaked/drowndeded and hooked my eee up to the monitor in the sitting room (thereby making certain things convenient should I so desire). My international father of mystery is coming home again tomorrow, and I'm about to make some phone calls about my future.
5 minutes later Phone calls about my future didn't go so well, and involve September. Poot.

11:34 pm - What's that word? Is there a word for something that's painful, but doesn't feel like a pain, but leaves you feeling nauseous and is there all the time? Something that isn't an ache, as ache signifies a weariness to me. What about something that only hurts when you do certain things that isn't a shooting pain? What about the pain of watching The Da Vinci Code film - does that have a word?
Is there a word for planning on being a deviant and turning a meeting around completely from what the other person expects it to be? How about a word for when your body is tired, but your brain is full of thoughts of silly words?

09:56 pm - Working for food and board I put delichan and mytholder to work today. I banished him to the study with a click of my fingers, then dragged her chair shopping with me. Chair shopping is possibly one of my favourite types of shopping, as it involves sitting down a lot. Waiting 30 minutes to find out if they had a particular chair in stock was not just irritating, but shoddy service. Nice boy did carry it outside though. By our powers combined we built a chair - I can now sit upright at my computer without slowing sinking to the floor, or leaning drunkenly to the left. delichan and I had a long drawn out thanking session (no, thank you for wiping the table). We also were terribly cruel to the taxi driver, but I think he recovered (even if he did try to drive off with the suitcase - maybe that was payback).
Dinner with coffee_lifeform, microgirl, delichan, mytholder and B (who may or may not have an LJ) was lovely, and I very much appreciated the fact that they changed venue just for my hatred of pizza - thereby missing out on the best pizza in the world. We all ate waaaay too much food. And then ordered dessert (why do I have to triple check that word every single time at my age? From now on I'm going to pronounce it dez-cert to avoid my own confusion).
Due to having both an aah and an elbow, I departed with the others leaving microgirl with someone who wasn't there, and another person who was there but invisible. But thankfully there were no level 2 knobends around, so that was OK.
